ABOUT ME

My name is Vincent Reynaud
I’m a French videographer with six years of international experience, mainly in the world of sports and outdoor adventures. My work focuses on capturing movement and the landscape to create images that are both dynamic and intentional.

I grew up in Annecy, in the heart of the French Alps, where I quickly developed a passion for nature, action sports… and framing everything I saw. With a strong interest in cinematic techniques, it seemed natural to head toward fiction or advertising. But the world of documentary opened up something much deeper.

What I found wasn’t just stories to tell, it was real-life adventure! and even more meaningful: human connection. Filming documentaries means stepping into unique moments, discovering new ways of seeing the world, and sometimes sharing an important chapter in someone’s life. That’s what drives me today.

I approach each project with the desire to apply the language and precision of cinema to real-world stories. To me, it’s the perfect balance between creativity, emotion, and authenticity.

RESUME

In 2018, I made a key move to Los Angeles to join the team at Poorboyz Productions.
There, I had the chance to sharpen my skills in sports filmmaking, working on a wide range of projects with inspiring directors and producers.

I also became part of the World Surf League crew, contributing to some of their most engaging and memorable shows.

MY STYLE AS DOP

I aim to strike the right balance between the flexibility of lightweight setups and the visual quality of larger productions. That means building compact, mobile kits to capture great visuals in remote or demanding locations and, when scale is needed, planning every detail to stay efficient and respectful of the people in front of the camera.
